Started peeling paper in my kitchen today and this is what I found. I literally almost sat down and cried. Rethinking my plan for that room. Just getting a little overwhelmed with this house I guess. Funny that it would hit when I'm over half done. I guess I'm just tired. My callouses on callouses are tired! :) And this is going to be a big job.

Ok, Anna, I've seen this before, YUK! As long as it isn't really getting wet every time it rains, that means that the problem is already dealt with on the roof. Now if it's wet after the next rain, then ya gots a problem with the roof-dah! We had this at our old house but the roof had been replaced and Kilz was the answer when painting. They now make Kilz in colors at Walmart so that may be the answer or you could prime it with Kilz then paint it the color you want over it. It's not that bad, and it could be worst so don't consider this anything but a little speed-bump. You can do it!!! :)
