This was my new technique assignment. It's the scratch art thing we all did in elementary school, only applied to scrapbooking. Love the colors with these pictures, I remember the day we took them. So glad I entered, it was such a great personal challenge. Plus it really filled the days while we waited to move!

Ok, how do you do the scratch art thingy? Please advise!
Very easy. Time consuming but easy. Start by coloring (randomly) a piece of cardstock with crayon, filling in every square inch. Then paint over it with acrylic paint (I used brown here, but black worked well too). Let it dry. Then use a sharp wooden object (like a shiskabob stick) to scratch patterns into the paper. I did another one with black and bright colors underneath- then scratched flowers into the surface, it was super cute.
