Yesterday I Changed My Tombstone

After taking 18 classes... spending approximately 30 hours a class.. and 15 trips to Houston..

My papers came yesterday. :) Oh long awaited papers. I went from being regular old Anna Thoreson to Rev. Anna Thoreson - an outward change indicating what God had spoken to my heart at camp almost two years ago. (you can read that post here)

When they came, I went and hugged Rob. Then I hid in the ladies room and had a good cry. I still can't hardly believe that God has called me to this. I feel reminiscient of the moment I found out we were pregnant with Eli.. "What have we done?" The sense of responsibility to preach the gospel is overwhelming. I know that I, in my Anna-strength, am incapable. There are so many others, more elequont, more educated, more suited for the ministry. But I know, that empowered by the Holy Spirit, I can do all things in Christ Jesus. I have not ever experienced a more humbling few moments than those in the ladies room of the Calvary Temple FLC. Thank You, Lord, for never giving up on me. Thank You for coming to my rescue in so many ways! Thank You, for going to such great lengths to reach my soul. Thank You for your persistant and adequate grace. I pledge my life to Your service and the exultation of Your name!
