This building was 1600 years old!! Char and I couldn't get over it. We laughed how in the states they would dry wall over these cracks in the wall. In france it's considered beautiful. One of the locals told me that in WW2 when they were invaded they surrendered the city, rather than allow the germans to destroy their precious history. That is love!!!
