One of the sweet saints of our church spoke to us on Tuesday morning about 'looking up' to God, where our help comes from. Well, I think she spoke words of wisdom over our life cause we are putting one foot in front of the other in the youth room and it's definitely looking better by the hour! We finally finished painting the grid (in the ceiling) and now I'm just touching up the edges. We painted the walls today and now we have trim work to tackle tomorrow and then the floor. Looking forward to that!
So we took the night off tonight, just sheer exhaustion won us out. We needed to spend some time with our kids. So we headed to Clear Lake to hit my local scrapbook store, armed with a coupon and news of new Hambly, Making Memories and Jenni Bowlin product. Yay! Then we went to ChickFilA (with coupons again) and let the kids roam in the kiddie play place. We took the ferry home. Too fun. I've got some photos to share of the room at various stages.
