random. terrible photo, brought my smaller nikon and my slow kit lens (realizing just how stinky it is for indoor non-flash photography) but could not resist this photo of my all-time favorite Barbie doll from my childhood. Anybody have one of these?
(oh, and the new packaging just makes me feel OLD)

I've read your blog before, but not commented, but I have to say, I remember that doll!!! In fact, I was just telling my husband about her the other day. I had that Barbie, and one of her rocker friends AND the stage with the microphone and REAL lights in the backdrop. You could even stand them up on the stage and turn a crank and they would spin. Glorious!

Totally have that Barbie. Is it back on the market again? NUTS. I still have the hot pink convertible...I LOVED Barbie.
Glad to know I'm not the only vintage Barbie gal! I just love the memories!
